Thread
We use Glide Thread for its strength, smooth texture, and beautiful finish. We have a variety of thread samples available in-store, and we're always excited to help you find the right shade to bring your quilt to life.
Batting
We recommend the Quilter's Dream 80/20 blend, but we have a variety of available battings for you to choose. You are also welcome to bring your own batting.

How to Prepare Your Quilt
To ensure the best results, please follow this checklist:
Quilt Top
- Seams are secure and pressed
- Loose threads trimmed
- Top is squared
- Stay-stitch or "victory lap" if possible
- Remove all pins and embellishments
- Mark the top if your quilt is directional
Quilt Backing
- Backing is pieced, seams are pressed
- Squared properly
- Your quilt backing and batting must be 4 inches larger on all sides than the quilt top.
Important Note
The quality of the quilting service is directly related to the quality and integrity of the quilt top and back. We understand that no quilt is perfect. We do our best to deliver a beautiful final product and will work with the natural variations of handmade quilts. However, we cannot guarantee perfection due to issues like holes in seams, fullness in borders, or dark threads that may show through. Mechanical issues are rare, but in the unlikely event one occurs, we will communicate with you immediately.
